Bio

Victoria Szilagyi was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago to Hungarian immigrant parents. Despite both parents careers as engineers, Victoria comes from a family of artists and musicians. Her grandfathers and great-grandfathers were violinists and worked in the traditional Hungarian artisan trades of woodcarving and woodworking.

Victoria studied and performed dance with Boitsov classical ballet and Wisconsin Ballet Theater. She also studied acting at Second City and performed in off loop underground classics such as Sweetback Productions' "Female Trouble" and "Plan 9 from Outer Space," and while a student at the Art Institute of Chicago, she went on to play Natasha for the next two years in Torso Theatre's cult hit "Cannibal Cheerleaders on Crack."

In 2001, Victoria graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she earned her BFA in painting and Drawing. Victoria is an emerging Chicago artist.
